The employees of IronMountain Solutions are proud to announce that for its fourth grant award season contributors to our “Employee Peaks Fund” awarded $41,000 to 13 local non-profits. This brings the total to $144,000 that employees have given back to community organizations since our employee giving fund was founded in 2018.
The following charitable organizations received grants from the IronMountain Solutions Employees Peaks Fund for the first half of 2020: Manna House, Rose of Sharon Soup Kitchen, New Hope Children’s Clinic, American Cancer Society, Boys & Girls Club of North Alabama, Cap & Gown Project, Friends, Inc., Project Sweet Peas, Shepherd’s Cove, Downtown Rescue Mission, and North Alabama Spay & Neuter Clinic. The IMS Employee Peaks Fund also voted to award grants in March of this year to support the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville’s COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund and the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee’s Disaster Relief Fund following tornado destruction.
The IMS Employee Peaks Fund is completely employee ran. It is comprised of a Board of Directors and employee contributors who are given the opportunity to vote on which applicants receive grants each award season. Sharon Valavicius is the current BOD chair: “We are grateful for our Peaks Fund contributors and love seeing the impact we are making in our community. Our employees have big hearts and it is an honor to serve our community alongside them,” says Sharon. “Investing in our community is the IMS way. Witnessing our employees give with not only their money, but their time year-round is truly inspiring,” says IMS President & CEO Hank Isenberg.
The IMS Employee Peaks Fund awards grants to qualified applicants twice a year based on votes from our employee contributors. We will accept grant applications again in Fall of 2020. For more details visit https://www.ironmountainsolutions.com/epf/.
